Recap: Remake-It-Yourself: A DIY Workshop with Tie-Dye and Upcycling

We had lots of fun learning from Nusrat Chowdhury, Fiona Haborak, and Nishanshi Shukla on Friday, March 24. First up, Fiona gave us a presentation on the benefits of upcycling and shared local thrift stores for finding items to rehome. She then presented a workshop on how to turn a well-worn t-shirt into a throwpillow, with no sewing involved. Then Nusrat and Nishanshi took over and guided us through a bit of the history of tie-dye, including its roots in India in the 6th century! Then it was time to dye! (haha!)

See the .pdf below for their presentations and references.
