New Publication – Disobedient Electronics Zine
Congrats to all at SP&CE Media Lab and the Feminist MakerSpace for our inclusion in Garnet Hertz’s latest zine, Disobedient Electronics. A short essay about our Campus Carry Doorbell project will be featured in the “Protest” zine, alongside work from Lone Koefoed Hansen, Daniela Rosner, Chris Csikszentmihalyi, Natalie Jeremijenko, and others!
One of the most exciting things about this is that “SP&CE Media Lab” is listed as the author. We are excited to publish as a collective in recognition of the communal and collaborative nature of the work we do together.
You can see a preview of the zine, with a brief glimpse of our contribution at 02:49:
First assembled proof of "Disobedient Electronics: Protest". Thanks to help and advice from Amelia Guimarin, Sabrina Hauser, Katherine Gillieson – and the great people that submitted stuff, including Lone Koefoed Hansen, Daniela Rosner, Chris Csikszentmihalyi, Natalie Jeremijenko, Rich Pell, Matt Kenyon, Scott Kildall, Xtine Burrough, Josef Nguyen, Stacey K, Laura Forlano and many others.
